Ale Flip


Ingredients:

  • 12 oz chilled ale

  • 1 oz brandy

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • pinch ground ginger

Directions:

  1. Add lemon juice and 2 oz of ale, ginger, and sugar to saucepan.

  2. Heat until sugar dissolves.

  3. Beat egg yolk into the brandy in separate bowl.

  4. Add heated mix to brandy mix and beat until smooth.

  5. Pour into beer bug and slowly add rest of ale.

  6. Stir well.
