Sazerac


Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 oz rye whiskey

  • 1/4 oz simple syrup

  • 4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

  • Absinthe to rinse

Directions:

  1. Rinse chileld rocks glass with absinthe.

  2. Discard excess.

  3. In a mixing glass add ingredients.

  4. Add ice and stir until well chilled.

  5. Strain into rocks glass.

  6. Twist lemon peel over the drink.

  7. Garnish with lemon peel.
