New York Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon (Yellowstone)

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 1/2 oz egg white

  • 3 dashes orange bitters

  • 1/2 oz red wine

Directions

  1. Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters and egg white in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Dry shake.

  3. Add ice and shake again.

  4. Strain into a whiskey glass with a large ice cube.

  5. Using back of a cocktail spoon, float red wine on top.

 

More to love

We prefer using Yellowstone Bourbon, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and Tempranillo for the wine. If needed you can substitute a few shakes of fee foam for egg white.
