Hot Buttered Rum


Batter Ingredients:

  • 1 lb butter

  • 1 lb sugar

  • 1 lb confectioner’s sugar

  • 1 qt vanilla ice cream

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz spiced rum

  • 1.5 tbsp batter

  • 6 oz hot water

Batter Directions:

  1. Remove ice cream and allow to soften.

  2. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

  3. blend in brown sugar.

  4. Blend in confectioner’s sugar.

  5. remove from heat and whisk in the ice cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  6. Pour mixture in plastic container, seal, and freeze.

  7. Free for minimum of 4-hours.

Directions:

  1. Place batter in cup.

  2. Add in 6 to 8 oz boiling water and mix.

  3. Top with 1 oz rum and stir.
